Right Path Foundation is a secular, non-profit Non-Government Organization (NGO). Some socially conscious and young volunteers were working for promotion of peace and harmony in the communally sensitive District headquarter town of Nalanda (Bihar), Biharsharif in late 1980s. They named their group Right Path Foundation.

Later, the volunteers decided to give the shape of an NGO to the group and work in social development/welfare sector.
